Birg Station sits like an eagle’s eyrie on the ridge overlooking the precipice. The mountain panorama and the precipice on the “Thrill Walk” are an experience not to be missed. An à la carte restaurant with a stunning view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau will be opened in this old and imposing concrete building.
The usable surface area of Birg will be increased by the new cable car station. The additional rooms provide space for two restaurants (à la carte/self-service), two new sales outlets and an accessible, sunny roof terrace with an outstanding view of the Swiss skyline.
